Full tunnel protectors from factory as the sled came with the 1ply IR1.5 which had to go.

RipSaw II 1.5 (2 ply) This track scrubs some speed but for trail corner to corner studded it's the best setup.

I like it! Very nice.

I ran that Ripsaw II 1.5 on my previous 17 Gade and put a new one on my 21. Really like the 2ply lug vs the singles on and off trail.

Looks sweet!

Questions:

1) For the rear rad plastic cover were the rivet locations pre-marked (dimpled) on your tunnel? I have an MXZ and the cover is no longer available as an accessory so I purchased the one for the new 600 EFI MXZ. The two existing snow flap rivets line up as a starting point but the other rivet locations don't fall on any pre-marked locations.

2) Just curious why you chose the Extreme skid plate rather than the Full Body one? Less chance of snow packing in the A-arm area?

A couple are premarked but the best way to align is using the linq mounts put a set on snug them then when you drill everything is perfect.

I spend more time on the trail but like having the extra plastic under the belly area. Years past I did find the full to hold more ice but wasn't bad.

nice job ,

do you find much extra resistance when those ski scratchers are deployed ?

have you ever had the front end off the trail/snow with those scratchers deployed , like jumped it or aggressive trail riding ?

No resistance as they are bent to apply the sweet amount of spray. Can always adjust if needed. No issues with off trail or putting in the air as the scratcher is into the ski at the front. Only drawback is not reversable but no difference than fixed rail mounted ones.

Not sure if sledwreck installed the rear plate or ordered it from factory. I can tell you I did not pre order mine and added after delivery. There are pieces to remove; center plastic light cable and have to drill out a few rivets. The install goes through the heat exchanger and you can see underneath where the holes are. When I installed mine, I mounted the corners where there were already holes or dimpled. Used a small bit and found my way through the intercooler holes with no problem. With the factory rivet kit to to identify two longer rivets that are used on the led light install. The short ones will not hold tight. Yes I wasted 2 rivets before figuring that out.

Additionally, you can always look at the install guides posted on the brp site.

I also picked up the shorter cover for the 600R and have not looked at mounting that yet. There is a current post on here that shares that older part number and I suspect you may have read that one.

Nice sled! How bad was the pull cord install?
Hardest part was wiggling the existing cover out other than that really easy. There are some YouTube videos showing the install.

Nice build. So did you have the fronts and center revalved for 300psi nitrogen as well? No aux high beams?

Extreme skid plate - rivnut installed for easy removal if needed

BRP floorboard supports - I have to say these are heavy duty. No flex now.

RAM tab mount for GPS - It's out of the way of the FAR riser and doesn't restrict movement of the riser. 12volt power (hard wire next)

One thing that drives me nuts is plastic in suspension pivots and other areas like this. Here is the size difference of doo's plastic spacers vs the Polaris Aluminium spacers fitment. $4.59 each Canadian.
