Who's interested in the 2021 RT 1000 Quebec ride? It'll be in mid Jan to mid Feburary. I'm in, DAAG's in, we're going to peer pressure Tony into going. LOL! Sergio?

The sled has been ready. Not sure about my truck but I'll either sort it out by then or rent one. I'll want a day of shake-down running near your place since I didn't ride last season and replaced the track, hyfax and some other minor things.

Big 3 day loop or 3 small loops?

Do I need to keep up with you two speedsters??? Mike has got the Spare setup well for a long trip... and a long ways behind lol Sergio is on the right path, so he's going to be good to go. You and Mike, me and Sergio are the perfect teams for this 3 day ride, Lac du Repos, Kanawata, Wemotaci, Le Relais 22 Miles, La Tuque, Matawin, and back to Saint-Michel for Jeudi-xxxx lol

We already did the two day ride which was a lot easier than what you did last. It is around 350 miles in 3 days, so 10 gallons of gas and a half gallon of anti-muskito oil per day spraying over your sled if it ain't fast enough to hold the front lol

That's a little short. Can I go around twice?
Sure lol I thought you might find it too short, so I figured 350 through lakes and non plowed forestry roads, and 470 miles on windy trails for the speedsters. If you want to shoot for 500, you can take a trip to the Dam, or spend time on the lake at Le Cabanon.

I'm in. While a 2-3 day trip isn"t an issue for me (schedule wise), others may need to plan well in advance for the time away from work.
The potential routes are far enough north to pretty much guarentee rideable snow as early as the 3rd week of January.
Hotels, routes and stop planning are easy enough to schedule with a firm plan.

Could someone contact Sergio?

The 3rd week starts Friday January the 15th. I left a message with Sergio to see what days work best for him.

should be there that is if ...... : there is, and i mean there is a slight chance of seeing a MOOSE , a minus 32 or worst temp causing hard starting few sleds, Canadian ballet dancers ,magnetic waitresses ( that is for Tony !!! ) , good lunch ,and of course, some off trail sled pulling of a straight rider who forgets which side his friends went right or left , even if both ways gets to the same place anyways .... I THINK WITH THAT MUCH FUN UP AHEAD ....COUNT ME IN !!!!! and don't forget some police inspection !!!!! (that is for me....my new friends !!! ) '' REV '' :revinmotion:

Jesse hopefully is in as well. We are looking at 2 nights backpacking starting and ending in St. Michelle.

To anyone else interested in attending, this isn't an exclusive RT 1000 ride, everyone's welcome. Right now we have 4 1000's interested, the more the merrier.

I'd strongly suggest that those attending be experienced riders with a good understanding of their machine and snowmobiles in general.

once we have a set date. hopefully 2-3 weeks before we go I should be able to get off of work with that much notice. I just may have to bribe my boss a little. I will most likely be clutching tuning and suspension tuning as we go. Unless WNY gets enough snow to ride before hand. new sled, new clutches, new suspension lots to learn as conditions change.

I think that we will all have to take a smaller trip to work-out the details. The moment there is enough snow to ride up North, Mike takes off. I remember last year was like a bad itch lol Mike is never happy unless the engine is performing at its peak - and rightly so. He's got to break-in the new parts. Jesse, this would be a good time to work out the kinks.

Sergio is carrying all the tools for trailside repairs, and tent, sleeping bags, propane heater, spare jacket/gloves/boots.

Charles, I have 1460 miles of driving to do for this trip. I want at least 600 miles in 3 days. I'll plan on doing a short ride (100+) near Mike's on the way up for a shake-down run to get the beast unpickled from March 2019 and sorted from the track replacement and mods last year. That doesn't count as part of the 600, by the way ^_^

That East-West loop that you isolated is a big ride. I would be willing to trailer the spare sled to Horseshoe. The 180 miles should be a good shakedown lol
