I am snowchecking a freeride also, from sask, wonder if the dealers will budge on price at all or will they just throw a belt in to sweeten the deal. I am torn on the 137 or the 146, but with electric start on 146 it comes to the same price.

I had a 137 and I love my 146 even on the trail it rips the bumps. if you enjoy riding off trail more than on trail than the 146 is for you. Every time I ride trail to the woods I'm surprised how well I can still rail the turns.

the only time I am on trail is to get to another off trail riding location, so 146 it is, looking forward to see how good a skidoo rides compared to a Yamaha lol, it just never really felt like a good setup even with the fox floats. The last skidoo I had was a 97 MXZ 670 short track, that thing at that time had worlds better ride than my 136 SRX Mountain Yamaha, then I moved up to the Nytro, at that time it was like getting on a caddilac, but just couldn't take the manual reverse and the extra weight anymore. So hoping to be very impressed with this new machine. I was wondering if you can still have a nice plush ride with the big KYB shocks the freeride comes with.

My only reason for considering a 137 was that you can get a shorter lug track on it, I never had scratchers on my nytro and had a bit of heating worn hyfax issues this year, so hope the scratchers can keep that at bay with a 2.5" lug, some of our trails up here are quite packed so not much snow to be had at times on trail.

Was quoted 16700 with e start for a 2015 summit x T3 174. Plus GST. Anybody else have numbers here in alberta? Edmonton area? Or 16000 plus GST strait out of the box!
Have you checked with Ecko Marine in Alberta Beach? Or Riverside in St Albert?

Why do these prices seem high? I paid $13,400 plus taxes ($15,008) for my 2014 Summit X 163 spring check last year.

Just going to say same thing. $1600.00 more for the track and a few updates. Okay I guess if you are due for new sled and want the 174.
If I had a low km 2013 or 14 163 there would be no way I would be spending that to upgrade to 174.
Would convert mine and still have extra track rails to go back on when I sold it.
