My wife has her sites set on a 2015 GTX SE 1200 w/1450 miles.
Looking for opinions on this sled.
I am a 2 stroke guy.
Any issues I need to be aware of ??
Is air ride easy to maintain ??
How is the fuel mileage on a 3 cylinder 4 stroke ??
609# dry weight ? Sounds like it could be a heavy pig !!!
Any constructive opinions would be appreciated.................
Thanks !!

well the low millage is a bonus. the 4 stroke is reliable for 40000 km easy. Fuel is great and you dont need to keep adding oil. yes its heavy but if your on the groomed trail system this is not an issue. I personally will not return to the 2 stroke, even though the power out of the hole is better, the 1200 will cruise along easily at 115 km/hr with no issues. I'm not sure about the air ride shocks but I hear they are fine.

My wife has been on her 13 GSX 1200 since new. 14 to 15 MPG regularly. No issues with the air ride and it allows me to use her sled without having to mess with spring settings. Only thing I have changed on that sled is putting snow trackers on the skis to eliminate darting.

Great sled. Comfortable, warm with the big windshield, probably has a heated seat right?

Great for cruising the trails sitting down if that is the style of riding you guys do. The long track with the 1200 is a good combo.
