I'm on my 2nd etc 800. I know at least a dozen guys riding one currently and have talked to dozens more. I only know of one that had a crank issue. And it didn't even fail it was in for service and dealer said it was out of spec. Fixed it under warranty. 2 bad stator and mine had an issue with a fuel pump. All fixed under warranty.

Like every sled, car, bike, boat I've ever owned I like to break them in hard. If something is gonna break let it break in the first year. All of my stuff has always gone the distance. And jm not real great with over maintenance like changing oil every 3000 miles. There an old saying and it still rings true... once the hood goes up, it never goes back down. Stop being a little bish and ride!
