My 2010 TNT 550F is having instrument cluster issues. It either doesn't work at all or when it is working it is very erratic. The tach gauge will work sometimes, but the speedometer needle either does not move or when it does it is way off. The lights and hand &thumb warmer all work as they should and the sled runs good. Should I be looking for a loose connection, a bad ground or is the cluster just going bad. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

From Warranty Bulletin 2010-8:

Subject:Gauge needle fluctuation on 550F

PROBLEM

Gauge needle may fluctuate abnormally from 0 to
9000 rpm.

SOLUTION

Verify if idle speed is according to specification
1650 ± 200 RPM.
Adjust if necessary.
If needle fluctuation is still observed, replace filter
harness.

I had the same issue as you. Replaced the filter harness and I was good to go.

You also have to make sure the sled is properly warmed up.

My 2010 is probably the most cold blooded sled I have had.

There are multiple posts about the proper starting procedure for these sleds.

If not properly warmed up, the tach, speedo, etc. will not read properly.
