I recently took my carbs out and cleaned them and put them back in...this is the 2nd time ive done this (including last year) my other sleds were fuel injected.

My sled idles around 1500 for a while and then eventually drops to around 1000, this seemed low to me... What is the normal idle for an 800r, I also have a 2010 600 TNT and was wondering if they shoudl both idle around the same?

I am guessing my problem is the needles i took out to clean, if they are screwed all the way in, how far should i typically back them out on each carb?

Thanks for the help.

I like my sled to idle around the 1900 RPM mark usually. 2500 at start-up and then down to 1900 once warm.
If you had the carbs out and cleaned them all up, there should be no need to take them off again. Likely just need to adjust the idle using the adjuster knob on the carbs.
