Alright , so my friend has a 2006 mxzx 600 sdi , & suposilby he just got reeds & full exhuast , dont no what make or if its single or twin pipe, but i highly doubt he just put on 1500 when he just spend 13000 on it a month ago

Anyways here's the story from his weekend , well he said that there was some race & radar run going on , on some lake & he gave her a run , clocked at 192 km , or 120ish mph

Then he chanenged a sled like mine , a edge 700 , its a poo but i've had many doo's in my days , dont wack
on me, so yah he said he absolutly creamed it , i highly doubt it but ok , we can always race our selves , then he said he lined up with *2* 01 & 02 mxz 800 , & again creamed them by about 1 1/2 sled lenght , ( this is all quater mile ) Then said he raced a 05 mach Z & was running with it , trailed by 1 sled lenght

Well lets see what u guyz hve to think about this , you think his sled stock would take any of the sleds listed? , i DONT think so , how about with reeds & twins ? I DONT think so , maybe my edge 700 , but it would be close , lets see what yah got to say

I can say that your friend "may" have been that close. There isn't too much top end difference between a 6,8,&1000. Of course maintenance is always a factor. But from my experience, the 1000's have huge torque and mid range. I've seen an '05 800X beat two 05 mach z's. I certainly would have a hard time buying one myself. Hell my '04 beat them too!

if hes set up right, since its only a 1/4 mile, i wouldnt doubt a 600 putting up a hell of a fight, but hten again, it was only a 1/4 mile. 120, however, i think thats kinda high. .02

Since I've owned a stock 05 Mach and now own an 06 600 SDI stock I can give ya some comparisions. Running the 600 next to my bro's 1000 from 0-70 is pretty much a draw. Both totally stock. Don't get the idea that the 1000 doesn't have nugget-that thing will roto-till up the 90 where the 600 doesn't have the nut. If you can get the power to the ground with the Mach, it's a done deal. A 600 doing 120 with that work done to it-give me a freakin break. On the trail after 80 it(600) struggles to 100 where the Mach will cruise to it easily(on the dream meter that is).

On the 1/4 mile if you think about it the 600 will stand with most stock sleds...my wife's moded 600 stayed with my moded 800 untill around 80 and she just fell back. but 120 is where i topped off my 800 on a -10 day with around 15miles of flat land took me well over 1/4 mile to hit that speed. my wife's sled toped out @ around 109 track speed...on gps around 98mph. but keep in mind that this is on a nice smooth trail on a cold day with nothing but a straight trail. in the 1/4 it would only pull around 80ish nothing more. but the rotax 600 will spank almost any poo 700, that is if it isn't diled in. but best way to tell how your sled will stack up is to race...that is it...if you have doughts just race a nother sled and figure out what works best for you. that is what i did to my 800 and my wife's 600 just runn side by side untill i had them as quick as possable.

Not going to happen, I just ran radar last weekend and the 600's (all of them) were 2-3 mph slower.

Ok, 192km equal 112mph not 120..... 112 mph for 600HO no way.. it's a joke..

The max top end speed for a 600 is 102 to 105 max.....radar run. that's it!!!
