I need to rebuild my rear shock on my 2000 mxz 700. It doesn't bottom out that much, but it is not the same as it was when it was new. I am not sure if I should rebuild, replace, are replace more than just the shock. I have 1800 miles on the sled and I am 230lbs.
If you're 230lbs, have it rebuilt and valved a little stiffer. While you're at it, have ALL of the shocks done. At 1800 miles on a 2000, they're whipped if they haven't been rebuilt by now.
