My buddy has a 1998 mach z
and everytime he hits about 30 or 40 km an hour it studders
he can get to about 80km as long as he gives it slow throttle response.
Lots of friends have given different opinions
he change the slater that was 350 dollars wasn't that
checked the fuel pump wasn't that
we were now thinking maybe the DESS
Does anyone have any ideas
anything will help.
Thanks in advance

check compression. how are the reeds? are the carbs synched? air screw adjusted properly? plugged jets? tried replacing plugs? not sure about how dess would affect your issue? if all those are good, check secondary and primary to make sure everything is smoothe and fresh inside. I've been told to replace springs every year

All of the above. The carb sync (easy to doo) would be my 1st place to look. Had that simillar issue with my 97. Mine was more vibration than a stutter.
