I just had my ignition module or computer module replaced for lack of spark on my 98 formula III 700. I could not get more than 75 out of the sled, 3/4 throttle and above had no reaction. They said that they installed the correct module, and pointers. Does the module have a break in time?? This sled is all stock and always pulled strong up to mid 90's.

Maybe another problem? Clutch? Dirty carbs? Are you using solid top plugs?

The clutch han't been touched. I had a new set of plugs in it. I'm using BR9ES. Does anyone know what rpm the engine starts to over rev?? I haven't touched the clickers. The crazy thing is that it had plenty of power on the top end and then they put in the new module and now no power on the top at all.
