I just ripped apart my first belt at 1300 miles (02 mxz 800). It was a ultra max III Is there a better belt for my $$$. They are charging me $58 for a ultra max III. should I be lookin for a better belt. I'm not afread to give her the bean's once and a while!! I doo have fun on my mxz!!!

Most specs say change the belt when it's loses 3/16 of an inch. So when it's lost 1/8th change it and use the old for emergency.

OEM -127 - Can't beat it, unless you're talkin' price, cause it's not cheap - But lasts, and lasts, and... You know the Eveready Bunny...

I use oem. I change mine when it starts riding even with the top of the clutch wich is about 300 miles for me so id say you did pretty darn good on yours.
