I have a 04 800X and Im wanting to put on a 136x16x1.5 and put in a 96 (108) stud pattern. Is this posable without being in danger of the studs hitting the exchanger?? Sorry if this is a repost. I tried searching but the search function kinda sucks. Most likely its me and the search is fine, but Im asking anyway. Any help would be great.

i did it with my 05 but it required a lot of work

first change 10 tooth driver to 9 to get more room.
add tunnel protecters ( mine sucked becuase it was an artic cat track so it was notched for the coolors so i had to modify tunnel protecters to make longer).

not for sure if it will work in 04 i think it would

I have an 04 Gade 600SDI X.
I bought a 136x15x1.5 from Tracks USA last March.
I ran it out west for a week, then came home and studded it, (108 down the middle), for Minnesota.
I geared it down 1 tooth on top, and love the setup.
You will need to install taller tunnel protecters...NBD

I would make sure you doo what he did. The 04's are not intended for a 1.5 track let alone studs. Maximum track lug height is 1.375 is it for an 04.

i have 1.5 on 04 800x yes studs are going to be tight with 1 10 tooth driver but i doubt i am going to stud it at all.

i dropped 2 teeth on the top and i am at 8000 and 100-102 top end

I have 1.5 intense on my 04 800 and 06 500ss both with 1.5 studboys.
double backers and tall nuts ,3/4 inch tunnel protectors and front protectors too. no clearance problems. 10t drivers.

I have a 05 mxz and running a intense 1.5 with 1.625 studboys, double backers and tall nuts and ran into front bulk head problems, accelerating is not the problem its when u get hard on the brakes, it will fold up the track a lilttle and ding the heat exchanger. I have now added 9t drivers and bulk head protectors and 1/2 inch top cooler protectors and 155mm top idlers.

i have a 121 04 rev 600 that i turned into a 136 with 1.5 paddle,i put 1.625in picks on it, as long as you have that tunnel prtectors your all set no rubbing
