I've thought about getting the 1+1 seat for my girl. She likes to ride her own sled at times but sometimes she would like to just sit back and take in the sights. Has anyone used one and what damage can caused by using it for lond distances.

Maybe you should leave it on. It may act as a rudder to help keep you from clear cutting! (Are you going back to plant new trees in your swath?)

I've used mine a few times and I can't see how it would cause any damage ?

Do you mean extra wear on the suspension or what ??

So far I've just carried a 11 yr.old child, just stiffen up the rear and we're good to go.

Funny....

I had too much rudder.... made me go straight.

Besides I own stock in James River so the more trees cut the more paper made the more my stock dividend pays...

Yes - I will be right back - you stay and mark the spot and wait for my return.

I use mine all the time, too. My only recommendation is that if you are going to use it a lot, invest in the heavier springs available through Doo.....they will be worth it.
Other than that, eveything else is okay, seat was easy to install and works well.
