Hi everyone! I am new to snowmobiling and recently bought a 2019 Skidoo Renegade Adrenaline. As I will use this for ice fishing sometimes I added the 1+1 seat. When I put my dad on the back (185 pounds) and myself on the front (165 pounds). The suspension sags about 5-6 inches even with the torsion springs set to 5. Is this normal? I am considering upgrading to the heavier duty torsion springs. Thanks for your help.

I have the heavier duty torsion springs on order should be here in a couple days. I'm not going to change any shocks yet, my sled only has .5 miles on it! :p
Which springs did you order ??

The 503 192 270/271 springs are the typical "Big Boy" springs and are used on the 2-Ups. Unfortunately, If you plan to ride solo much, these springs will be VERY stiff for your 165# size. I am at 300# plus and have them on my Renegades set at position 2 or 3.

I know many people who have changed to the 270/271 springs for the occasional 2-Up ride and have then complained how badly the sled rides with just them on it. Get on a bumpy trail and it just pounds them.

If you plan mostly solo riding with only an occasional 2-Up, you may want to consider the 503 192 104/105 springs. These are between the stock springs (503 193 158/159) and the 270/271 Big Boys. They will be functional for 2-Up when set on position 5 and the sled will be awesome for you when on position 1 or 2

I had ordered the 270/271 springs, but I decided to change to the 104/105. I will post my results when everything is installed. I really appreciate the reply!

Installed the 104/105 springs on my sled and used it this weekend for ice fishing. I had myself 165# my dad 185#, two flashers (10#) each and some misc gear in a bag ~5# on the sled. My snow flap was about 3 inches from the ground which may be sagging a bit but I am satisfied. This was on position 5. I checked myself on position 1 or 2 and ride height is perfect. Thanks for all the help everyone.
