just got my new gsx600 rev last week. After 200 miles of our annual snowmobile trip, it was brought to my attention that the oil i was using(2 stroke injection oil that was given to me when i purchased 2002mxz 500), is not what is recommended for these new engines; and that what i should be using is either a semi, or full synthetic oil. This info would have been nice to know when the sled was delivered!!!! Any possible damage to sled at this time????, and what steps do I need to take from here forward?? ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE HELPFUL

i doubt you did any harm to the motor but you will want to switch over to XP-S semi synthetic so no BS issues come up with waranty.

Many folks use regular mineral oil for break-in (first gas tank - 300 miles), then switch to the semi or full syns. No harm done.
