Yeah, just wait untill you get a little more snow and take it for a nice ride, after break in, you can really notice the improvement in timing

Get a few hundred miles on it before you get too concerned. Its new, the engine is tight, the chip is still in, it still has pre-mix in it, etc...

Now all we need is snow.

Bought a new 04 600 HO renegade in November. Absolutely love it !!! Now has approx 300 mi on it, went for a 100 mile ride today. Pulls like a freight train, quite hoggish on gas I think ( always fill up at home, don't have meter on my gas storage tank). I don't care. It starts easy, idles nicely, no bogs, no fouled plugs. After reading these forums, i'm waiting for the hammer to fall on me. Can't believe all the unfortunate happenings i'm reading about. I truly feel for them, must be extremely frustrating. I ride with a fellow who owns an 800 RMK. On 1/2 mile runs on hard pack, I beat him 3 out of 4 runs. My sled tops out a little over 100 mph, (wasn't looking too closely at those speeds). We switched sleds on and off all afternoon. He was truly impressed. Told me he wished he would have rode a rev before buying his sled. He was re-jetting, checking his plugs all afternoon. Couldn't believe my little 600 pulls the way it does. I'm sure you will love your sled. It does seem to pull better after approx 10 hours. Good luck
