22ski-doo, I notice your signature is "There's a new sheriff in town and his name is F-1000" well I have a saying for all the DOO boys. " I wholeshoted the sheriff, and the Arctic scrap couldn't catch up with me" We may have our problems, but, the Z's aren't called Mr. Nasty for nothing. I remember the F7's having their fair share of problems (In reference to "go out and buy yourself a shopping cart full of sparkplugs"). Hope your still a doo fan!!! We'll find out how the F-1000's are. I know two people that are waiting for theirs and then come mid December there is going to be a whole lot of racing and testing between my Z and the F-1000's. All machines have zero miles on them, all of them are going to be broken in @ the same time, same conditions. No clutching, gearing, domes, y-pipes, whatever!! I just hope they have studs to make it fair. I just voided my track warranty with 192 Woody's. I am pumped, and in the end have faith in the Z. I have wanted to own a Z since the first time I rode the Mike Houle ltd edition, so lets get-r-done.
Blizzy for now keep the 05 mapping, from what I am getting of this site is the 05 mapping doesn't fall off at top end like the 06 and 06.5 mapping does. I am going to the dealer as soon as the 07 mapping is out ( I just purchased an 06 non-current with the 06.5 mapping). I want to see what the 07 has to offer seeing as how I don't have the 05. Search the site for mapping and you will get a truckload of info. I haven't even rode a mile on my sled yet and know a lot about it because of all the testing, and hard work put into these sleds by some top notch individuals on this site.
