My Summit since new, now twenty hours on her. Starts easy when cold with the choke applied, but when warm she is a bear to start sometimes up to eight pulls and playing with the throttle. Plugs are on the wet side. I Ride at 1500-6000+ feet how exactly does the DPM work? Any suggestions

if you look under your hood on the left next to the carbs, there should be a little red valve. if it is open close it. it heats the carbs for extreme cold weather, and makes it hard to start. this may not be your problem, but i had the same symtoms, and this fixed it . good luck

That is a skidoo trademark, if i've been running and shut it off, I always have to have a thumb on a little bit on the throttle to start it when it's warm, i've had to do that on my '95 summit, and '97 summit's

Same as SnowGix - I have a 03 Summit 600 ho and it always needs a
cracked throttle when warm.
