no they won't you want to have around an 1/8 to 1/4 inch penitration past the lug. So you would probably want a 1.45" stud length which is actiually 1.827" overall length (remember that your track is appx 3/8 thick).

For the 1.25" track on the 03's I would recommend 1.325's, they were designed for the 1.25" track (you will get 1/4"-3/8" penetration). Your 1.075's are for the 1" track. Make sure you use the tunnel protector kit from skidoo or at least change the stock protectors to 1"

I know there is an issue with studs in the 03 track hitting the front exchanger,do you think that the 1.325 studs will be alright? I put the 1.075 next to the lug on the track and that looked like it would have good penetration.I am a little worried about the studs being too long, yet I don`t want to waste my money either. If anybody has any experience in studding an 03 I would appreciate your feedback.I would rather not have to yank out the suspension to install bulkhead protectors.
Thanks!!!!!!!
I have the 1.325 on my '03 and have had no issues with the studs hitting. One little tip for better performance. I you are adding a track with every thrid window closed and you have the protrctors that run on the outside of the track. You can put a stud on the closed window. This gives awesome traction since that is where all the weight is coming from. I did it on mine last year and it worked awesome.

I found the best deal on studs at KORKYS.COM.I just bought 96 redtip (seconds)for $85.00 with poly backers.Seconds are studs that didnot meet the spec to go on the shelf sorta like a bad label on a pop bottle but the studs are fine.I didnot use the backers because my dealer told me never use plastic, my brother had exactly 96 aluminum woody round backers from the outside studs he removed.

OK Thanks for all the feedback. I `m pretty sure it is an 1.25" track. Is there a way to measure it? The lug itself measures 1" but if I measure the track and the lug it is 1.25". Which is correct?
Just want to make sure before I get rid of my 1.075 studs.

Thanks

It's a 1" track then. You don't measure the entire thickness just the lug height. Your studs won't have that much penitration but as long as they are past the top of the lug they will serve their purpose on the ice. A 1.325 stud on that track would be to much.
