Hello Guys, need some suggestions.

We have a 03 and 05 Revs. THe 03 continues to eat tracks and studs.
We just put a new track back in and already the studs are bending over and some have broken with only 3 Snox races. The orginal track have mulitple studs broken, bent and ripped right out of the track leaving gapping holes. We are using double backing plates. THe o5 no problems at all with studs and track.

NEED HELP!

Are you guys using the tall nuts this time? That can help support and prevent bending. The torque that you put on the nut might also have something to do with it too. Also, I hear that last race had a really hard track surface with some ice chucks and icey/packed areas, you are asking alot from your studs in those kind of conditions.

There is also a direct connection between studs flying out and the right thumb when running in marginal conditions, check the sending unit on that there might be a screw or two loose...
