Just got home from the UP and it's prolly the last ride of the season....the snow was melting like it was on fire!
...lotsa puddles!
Anyway.....My sled is an 02 REV with an 04 800 engine....while I was UP there, I couldn't get the sled to break 95MPH on ANY trail. My buddy has an 03.5 Blair and he left me in the dust. I thought it was the clutches so I adjusted them the same as his.....Primary is on 4 and the Secondary is on 1......didn't make any difference. I did seem to have a rattle or clanking in the primary at idle????
Anybody got any ideas? Think I need some rebuilding?
Thanks

2.5 REV. I think it was something like a demo/proto they brought out at the end of the year in 02.

The trails up there were really sugary snow conditions. What size tracks did each of you have? Studs?

Adjusting the outsides of the clutches doesn't mean they will work the same. The insides have to be the same too and your springs might be wore out compared to his.
