2008 MXZ Renegade X with 5000 mi. Last year just a few hundred miles ago experienced the infamous secondary clutch rollers shattering to pieces. Ordered parts and tools from C & T Powersports based on many recommendations here and repair process went smooth and no noticed issues since. For...
Just picked up a 2002 Summit 500f for my daughter and also purchased the Shop Manual. Upon cleaning the secondary clutch I noticed that the clutch on this sled isn't what the shop manual calls out. The secondary has a yellow spring that needs to be preloaded. (?) This is a first for me since...
Hi, i have a 2006 skidoo summit 800ho 151", 2" paddles and i am heading out west this year with it. I was looking for some clutching advise as far as a good setup for high elevation (6000'+). Currently its stock clutching, but i do have a team tss-98 secondary with a 44str helix i believe laying...
Just thought I would share how I install my secondary without issue. Clean the outer race of the bearing and the bore which it sits in. Use a little grease or anti-seize in the bore. Insert the jack shaft. Pinch the bearing and housing with your thumb and fingers. Squeeze and at the same time...
Was looking to see if anyone had any input on the Team Tied on the 850's? How was backshift, heat between the two clutches, what springs and helixes worked better? What did you end up with in the primary. Did a search on every forum out there and didn't find anything... Just wondering what...
Can any of you guys tell me what helix comes with the ibackshift clutch kit for the 2018/2019 summit 165 3" with the 965 ramps? Purchased a used kit off a buddy and I dont want to waste time installing if I dont have the right Helix. Kit I got came with the NC-D5 Helix
so sled all of a sudden seemed real sluggish and bogged down and wouldn't get rpms right off. took a look and the belt was about a inch down instead of right at the top so I removed it and spun out the tool and clutch to not return to position like it should and after some banging it flew out to...

I have an older Ski Doo bushing in my parts stash. I have no idea what model or year sled this fits. Looks like perhaps a secondary clutch bushing.
It is Doo part # 405601400. It also has the number 9201 stamped on the outside.
Length is ~ 1.722 inch, ~44mm
ID is ~1.133, ~29mm.

Anyone ever do a fix on their secondary clutch shaft? Have a smaller size heavy duty snap ring (1-5/16" shaft size) cut the groove a little deeper but also thinking I'll back it with a washer 1-1/4" fits the 1-3/8" shaft pretty good and a 7/8" behind...

Hi, not sure if this has been addressed before but here goes::
Bought the sled at the beginning of the season and it never went over 80mph.
I knew that was strange but never dug into it, figured bad gas or whatever.
Now after putting 400 miles on it wont do over 63mph all of a sudden.

Almost new secondary. Bought it and ran it on my 840 but ended up moving back to Iowa and selling the sled with the stock clutch. This has a red/blue 240/200 spring and 70-65 68-63 helix in it. Has less than...
