  1. REV-GEN 4 & 5 Trail two stroke
Hello, I shot my track out the back of my 17 mxz x 850 at 6,000 miles. Since I have to pull the drive shaft out to put my new track on I figured I’d put new bearings and seals in. I have a couple questions, I’ve read on here somewhere that there’s actually 2 seals on the driveshaft chain case...
  2. REV Chassis - Performance and Trail Models
Hello all, I know this seems like a silly question: Is there an easy way to remove the hood for easier access to wiring? Without removing all of the screws / bolts? I am sure that I am missing an easy step? I have the erratic and jumping speedometer. I have removed the speed rotation...
  3. REV-GEN 4 & 5 four stroke
What is the best way to release the tabs on the upper and lower grilles? I find them stubborn. Thanks Not that difficult. Take the turbo intercooler out to get access to the clips. One bolt and two hoses. Lift and push the clips with a screwdriver.
  4. REV Chassis - Mountain Sleds
Newbie here. I am trying to remove the track to repair the sled. I was doing really good until now. (See photos) I have everything off on the chaincase side including the criclip except ball bearing ring. I have everything off on the brake side (yes, I used the CT Brake Caliper Puller)...

Hi, I recently bought a 2006 Summit X 800 HO and the starter is toast. I already tested the battery, RER/Start button and solenoid and they are all fine. There is 12.5 +/- 0.5 volts getting to the starter post. It just wont spin. If I spin it by hand it will turn a couple turns then crunch and...

Ok. Here's a way to do this witout special tools. It works well on the left side jackshaft (QRS) and driveshaft (Brake) bearings that are difficult to remove. First, grind off the old bearing with a hand disc grinder. BE CAREFUL NOT TO KNICK THE JACKSHAFT when you are getting to the bottom...

Hey guys, Noob here. This may be a dumb question but I cannot figure it out. I have searched and searched and cannot find the answer to this question. On my 05 600 SDI I need to remove my flipper from the kill switch because my thumb warmer burnt out. I have a spare flipper but I cannot figure...
  8. Mach Z RT and MXZ 1000 SDI Models
The mundane part of the series, but a topic I wanted to cover it before moving to the next segment. I am going to start by jacking-up the lower arm about a foot high, and put a few blocks for safety. Once the clutch retaining bolt is removed (you decide how to go about that part), I will use...
  9. REV-XR/XS Chassis: 4-TEC 1200 Perf. & Trail Models
Going to clean my clutches on 2010 1200. Have a little over 5,000 miles on sled and clutches have never been off. Have just used air compressor to blow dust out. Is it easier to leave secondary clutch on sled or is it easier to remove clutch by using upper gear retaining tool in chaincase...
  10. REV Chassis - Performance and Trail Models
Hey, I need some help. I am trying to remove my oil tank on my 05 MXZ Adrenaline 600HO, not SDI. Right now I have it all loose, but it does not have the clearance to be removed. It impacts the gas tank and the coolant holder on the tank will catch on the frame before it comes out. I really do...

I am trying to intall my Sno - Stuff can but can't remove the wire that is screwed into the "can" if the exhaust system, the directions refer to it as a exhaust temperate sensor, and the new can does have a place for it that appears to be threaded, so we know it needs to be unscrewed but can do...
