509 Altitude 2.0 - has anyone seen one yet? Prototype?
I have a 509 Evolution helmet that fits me well, but the original Altitude just does not fit me right, no matter the size. I always thought my chin was exposed and hung under the helmet. I hope the 2.0 is a redesigned shell that fits me...
So I need to wear glasses while riding. Contacts not dooable. First I got Lasik which lasted 10 years. They can't do it again. So, I switched from my full face helmet with electric shield to open face helmet so I could wear RX goggles. But wearing goggles has it's own issues - fogging...
Ok.... Picked up 509 Altitude Carbon fiber & X5 ignite goggles at Novi show last night, and no matter how I try it, the goggles put downward pressure my nose and prevents free breathing??? I've tried it geared up for snow, or just helmet and goggles as if riding in summer, and no matter what...
After 4 years with the 509 Evol that had some wear issues, it was time for an upgrade. I stayed with 509 figuring the new Altitude helmet would be an improvement... and based on fit...it was. My Evol's never fogged...ever. I used the sinister and then aviator goggles mostly for better wind...

I'm planning to buy a new helmet as I sold my previous 3 with my sled when I sold it a couple of years ago. As I plan to rent some sleds in March to see what I like.
Anyways, I've tried on the FXR Helmet's and I like the fit on my noggin, but unsure what goggles to get to go with the helmet...
So I remember a while back that someone had a post asking what kind of tint do you like your goggles to be and if I remember right many said blue. Can anybody tell me what brand they used/using? I don't have a whole lot of money to put down on some goggles, if I did I would get these.. LOL
