Recently purchased a new to me 2014 freeride 146. Got it for a good deal because it needed a track. Looking into buying a track now to have it up and running by the first snowfall. Does it have to be a flex edge track for this sled? I can get a non flex edge fully clipped 2.5 track for 700 ish...
Looking for some insight on track changes (if any). For some background, I snow checked a '16 Freeride 146 and rode it for the past 2 seasons and absolutely loved it. When ordering, I wanted something longer than my '15 Renegade and without electric start, so I leaned towards the 146...
So I have a 2016 Backcountry800, with a Cobra 1.6 Flexedge, and although its fine for some conditions, I find it it has left me stuck. So I'm swapping to a bigger lug track. I was thinking along the lines of a 2.25 Flexedge, so convince me I'm right, or sway me to your side;)

I installed the S36 and Tom's EA (Evolution Air) Kit last year on my Ski-doo Summit Everest 600 e-tec from 2010. Is it worth "upgrading" to Tmotion ( buying the Kit) now?
Also thought about buying the PowderMax 2 (FlexEdge) - Will it work on my sled/worth buying?
