I"m talking to a guy that has a tnt Everest 440 and a tnt 440 for sale. Both are fan cooled. I haven't seen either of them in person yet. What is the deference between the two? I believe they are both 1974. I'm leaning toward the Everest, seems like it maybe a little more rare. Thanks for any...

What should the top speed be on a 1980 Everest 500? I got up to about 40 mph with full throttle. I'm just if that is all it should be, or if it should be higher. I raced my friend's Yamaha 340 and got beat. His 340 tops out at around 45 mph.

Hey hey. Picked up a 1977 Ski-Doo Everest 440/E F/C last year and finally got around to getting this thing running. No spark on mag side. Previous owner was kind of a hack, so I have a bit of mess to fix up. Purchase points, condensers, external coil(one wasn't reading any ohms), battery and I...

Hey guys, It's starting to feel like fall out there, and that means I get the itch to turn some wrenches. I picked up a 1980 Everest LC Electro for free this summer. I also just picked up a 1979 Blizzard 503 for $100 to use as parts. The Everest ran a couple years ago and is quite solid...

I have a project that I've started. This is the first time that I have worked on the bottom end of an engine. Just wondering how much, if any, play there should be in the crankshaft bearings. After pulling the crankcase apart the center three bearings have what I would consider a lot of play...

I recently picked up a 1979 Ski-doo Everest 340cc Fan. I replaced one ignition coil (Used parts) and changed it to brand new plugs, also have redone the wiring. I noticed the other day while taking it out for the first time in the yard, there is a serious lack of power for a 340. It can still...

I know someone out there has done this before, I have a 74 TNT fan cool, with the type 440 engine. I want to replace the Tilly HD with a Mikuni 32 or 34 from a newer, late 70s sled. Research at vintagesnow reveals I need a carb mounting flange from a 77-79 Oly or Everest 440. I would order a...

I keep on fouling a plug on my clutch side cylinder. I can change the plug, and it runs fine till I stop riding and leave it for a day, then it fouls within 20 mins of riding the next time I go out. My fuel mixture is fine, its only one cylinder and not the other and not both. its a single carb...

Hey there doo'ers. My area is finally supposed to get some snow tomorrow, a predicted 20 cm. My sled is ready to go, except for the 34 year old chaincase oil that's in it right now. It's a 1980 ski doo everest 500, not the Everest l/c electro, just the good ole rotax 503 with a single carb, no...
