#23227449 Disappearing coolant

Posted by snowprofro on 26 January 2020 - 09:35 AM

Tic, Id look very closly at your front heat exchanger, mine deveroped a leak at one of the factory welds too, and after researching it I found it was a common issue. It took me awhile to locate my leak, i would suggest riding it till operating temp ..or above then getting under it while hot and inspecting it. Its a huge job to replace it unfortunatly

#21636473 850 sucks down oil

Posted by snowprofro on 05 March 2018 - 10:12 AM

I bet doo has the 850 running a bit rich with oil for the first year so no misshapps occur. They dont want a hand gernade label attached to their new 2stroke

Lean the sled side to side once you are on it, trying to get your suspension to move as much as you can. Then try to get it moving

I think paying for a trail permit allows most to believe that is their contribution to trail maintanance ect. Most sledders dont use forums, im the only one in my 6sled group that does, so the word just doesnt get out to ride responsibly, & stay on trail.. Its tough even on me to convince my buddies to “be cool”, even after relaying trail closeure stories ect. were approaching the 60 year old mark, but still have the motocross mentality in us from our younger days of dirt bikes. Motoers will trench . I have learned from many years of dootalkers stories to repect but not everyone will

Obviously theyd be brand new looking if ice and snow were all they slide over. Nothing enduers pavement or cutting through thin snow to dirt for long

Saving money on oil with the same or better spec rating is smart,
Research is key
