Got a 2016 F150 crew cab with the 3.5 Ecoboost brand new. I LOVE IT!!!! I grew up a GM guy and have worked at GM and Ford dealers. I didn't even consider a Silverado simply because they're so daggum ugly!!! The square wheel wells have ruined those trucks! These F150s are just sexy as hell

For me, I would LOVE to be able to drop 13k cash on a sled and 20k cash on a side by side, but I can't. It would realistically take me too long to do that and by then I may not be able to physically enjoy them like I can now. I look at it like this; life is way too short to stand on the sidelines and wait or wish for something. If I can afford the payment, then that's what I'm gonna do.

PS...I use this logic for recreational items only lol

I've found it very difficult to stay committed to this sport. Mostly snow related.
But I've learned for me, It's a necessary evil. I may be done with riding this season, or I might have 5 trips left in me. Who knows. But I'll never quit.

My only regret. I don't share the passion for tinkering with them. I do very little. Some guys thrash all summer to get them ready. Me, I'll turn the key and make sure the battery has juice.

There is no replacement for displacement I have been a skedoo guy sense 1996 and am a big believe in this. I put 10k mi on every sled I own the 07 1000 was amazing if I didn't blow a motor every 3 k mi. The 800power tec was a let town from that power wise not the 800 e tec is quick but not fast by any means skidoo has gone backwards big time as far as power in the mid 90s our skidoos did 120 now 110 on the lake and the cats have been schooling us sense 2009 When they introduced their turbo now yummy the original lead sled also making us look like a joke. I agree skidoo is the best handling of trail sleds but lacking on the big end Big time! All of the new top dogs are over 13k14k plus the average 1000 in extras and when you are cruising at high speeds and watch The competitors walk right by you on a lake or big boy trail it really sucks! Don't get me wrong I am die hard skidoo trust me. But if this doesn't change soon I will be proudly wearing my skidoo suit sitting on top a yami knowing that for short $ I can re flash the computer and school almost every stock sled out there and last 30k mi not 10k tops. So as it looks if skidoo is last on the lake or large trail I will be done with them after this season. When it's to the bar and all your friends walk away from you every weekend it's no fun😡😡😡

Your first sentence used to be true but I don'the buy it anymore. My little 3.5L in my F150 will run with a 5.3 GM.
