Getting back to how reliable is an 800 etec ! Mountain riders are averaging 3000 km imo . Out east it's more like 10000 to 15000 km .

The biggest difference is in stability everything else is same o . For ice fishing there is no advantage to the skandic s narrow front . Go with the expedition le or se and put ski skins on . Imo

Clean your jets and check fuel filter . Compression check would hurt either . But jets might be plugged is most likely

I unintentionally found a work around... it seems like when you use the navigation in the header menu and not the links on the page, it stays in canadian.
That's what it does for me anyway

Not sure about that. I said same about 4 stroke, but don't seem to be much difference in life than 2 stroke before major work. It's the nature of a snowmobile. Unlike a vehicle on wheels, there's a lot of rolling resistance, so components are under constant load.
To be fair a 4 stroke has more complexity and more moving parts when compared to a 2 smoke ,but an electric has only one moving part and only two bearings .

was told my sled is in skidoo warehouse waiting for parts to come in to finish it, parts still few weeks out!!!!! you would think skidoo would make sure all of our spring checks sleds where done before the dealer floor models where in show rooms!!!!!! very very frustrating to say the least
Could be covid caused supply issue !
