#23342561 2021 Freeride Spring Order Help

Posted by shaggyfacari on 25 March 2020 - 05:01 PM

I live in New Hampshire ride in Maine. I have had a 16 and an 18 FR 146 and just ordered a 21 146 FR perfect sled for east coast. If your just starting out off trail you might get stuck a little easier at first. The 146 holds its own and with the short tunnel should still fit in a 10 ft trailer. Iv never had a 154 or road one but never felt like I needed one well on my 146. The new front end should make it a nimble beast off trail, and probably take some getting used to for you coming off a trail missile. Hope this helps

#23334857 2021 FR 146 Ski Stance

^^^^^^ I agree with the above statement although this year's looks great in person. Love the plaid seat and the 36 front end. Hope they never drop the 146 x 2.5 track. Personally I'd really love to see them come out with a purple freeride like the formulas in the 90's that would look great IMO.

#23332737 Extended spring buy and delayed spring shows?

Posted by shaggyfacari on 19 March 2020 - 08:40 PM

People back out every year probably more this year sure. Who knows if a lot of us who have ordered will even be employed come fall, or if Ski Doo can even get them produced by then. The world may even sink into a depression the future is uncertain for sure. I for one don't worry about things I can't control and live each day to it's fullest as tommorow isn't guaranteed for any one. I refuse to live in fear and give into panic and chaos. "dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die tomorrow" James Dean. Then there's the people who will always have money no matter what the economy is doing as they have so much of it.

#23332541 2021 FR 146 Ski Stance

Posted by shaggyfacari on 19 March 2020 - 06:00 PM

I personally can't wait to get my 2021 FR 146 with the 36 front end. Here in New Hampshire/Maine it will work perfect for me. The 146 is nimble and playful and with the new front end it will be better off trail. Don't need a 154 here IMO plus I can still trail ride with my wife and kids and trail friends. This will be my 3rd 146 FR and can't praise the sled enough. Just my opinion but I hope Ski Doo never drops the 146 from the FR line up.

I would agree with grim396 they are very desirable, and the order in which he put them is pretty spot on. I to like the 75 alot more than the rest just personal preference.

#23023791 Nice finds PRS seat

Nice score. I just picked this one up for my 89 mx. It was upgraded seatyou could purchase with storage compartment. When I bought the sled it had one on it that the stitches where all blown out of it. Couldn't believe I found a NOS one. Did you happen to get it out of Pennsylvania?

Nice sled always liked them. But the words "starting fluid" makes me cringe. Glad you got it away from that guy. Have fun with it.

I have one as well.....354 LC in a 7500 RV
I did contact them, and Steve told me it was a trail port, and the "A. D." tells him who did it in the shop, in this case it was his brother Allen. This was probably 10 years ago however.

so I was able to get in touch with Steve decker great guy by the way. he said it also was a trail port job about 10hp above stock.
