In Topic: Opinions on new trailer options

I added power outlet which I find convenient, bar lock added on the man door for added security, and like Don mentioned....a step...us old farts need it !

I took Don’s advice and get rid of the roof vent....no regrets on that. Side vents are fine.

Where did you get the door step and how much did it cost?

In Topic: Anyone have a black G4 with red or yellow accents?

09 November 2018 - 11:23 AM

Just a few I've found... I really like the blue black. But I have already ordered all white accessories!

Would you happen to have the part numbers for the red hand guard caps? Wanted to order them to match the red skid plate but red is not in the accessory catalog and my dealer is having a hard time finding the part numbers.

In Topic: Weight Distributing Hitch?

05 October 2018 - 07:57 PM

Has anyone installed weight distribution bars on a Stealth Predator?

I have a 7 x 27 when fully loaded (4 sleds and gear) squats the rear of my truck 3 1/2" (to the point I cannot release the jack). I am towing with a 2015 Sierra 1500 w/ 2" drop hitch.

I am looking at suspension enhancement kits, air bag systems, and WD bars. From what I have read, the suspension enhancement kits and the air bag systems only mask the issue and the WD bars won't fit w/o some redneck ingenuity. Any suggestions or experiences to share?

Thank you.

Here are some pictures of the Andersen no sway mounted on my 7x23 stealth predator. Have had it for 2 seasons now, simple and works great. Trailer and hitch are used behind my 2015 f150 3.5 eco and my brother's 2013 f150 3.5 eco.

In Topic: Anyone towing with leveled f150?

I have 1.5" leveling kit in mine so it still sits with the rear a bit higher than the front. if you go any more than that I think you will squat the rear lower than the front. Honestly just do bags.

That's what I am thinking about putting on mine is 1.5". Does yours squat bad with a trailer hooked up?

Just the trailer is fine. I have a single beam coming from the box and it seems like they would want those bars more seperated. Do you have a bracket on the beam the separates then a bit?

I had enough room on the outside beams that meet the center pole to use a slight a-frame configuration. Works pretty well. If you look in the Andersen installation manual...they say you can bolt the two outside brackets that the chains go through to each other for a pole tongue configuration. In this configuration you would not use the two inside brackets. Hope this helps.
