We have been extremely impressed with the Hurricane Performance tunes.   We sent our exhaust system to Hurricane and they surely liked it.  The key is to go turbo back because we did make a prototype slip on muffler and it made no gains over stock.   Our 2.5" turbo outlet manifold and muffler combo worked out really well though.  It's 10 lbs lighter and sounds great.  Not too loud at all, just a nice deep tone, and all stainless steel.  It makes 7 more hp than stock, so the Hurricane 205 hp tune makes 212 hp.  And their 195 hp tune makes 202 hp. 

So we put together a performance kit with the Hurricane tune, our SSI stainless exhaust system, our SSI aluminum charge tubes, and our ProShift clutch kit.  The secondary helix is a full progressive and utilizes our torsion spring which lets the clutches shift out all the way.  The primary clutch spring is changed, but nothing radical since that motor does not need a high engagement at all.  And our Pro-Mag weights which are adjustable from 91-112 grams utilizing magnets.  This kit uses our weights set at 100 grams!!  It makes power!!

This is very smooth and trail friendly.  But when you grab a handful off throttle it really accelerates hard!  Excellent throttle response of course.  You can always switch modes too and go back down to stock power level to.  

If you like to run on the lakes or rivers a lot and top speed is important, than go to a 40 tooth lower gear.  Stock is a 45 as many of you know.

The Etec we mostly sell the high elevation version for.   Since we don't dyno in the mountains, we estimate a 6-8 hp gain.   You need to add 1-2 more grams of pin weight when the head is installed for best results.  They work!
