Just read SIG is closing plants in Germany. Didn't expect to read that considering the increase of firearm sales these days.

Spent some quality time with my Dan Wesson Valor 1911 during the quarantine, liked it so much I decided to add another to the collection. This time I’m going with the color case hardened version in .45 acp. Here is a stock photo that captures the detail. I’m pretty stoked to get the call from my FFL to pick it up.. c94c88708440f2115af7bd28e598de98.jpg

The XP was the most fun sled ever made - but I liked my XR more. The 850 takes it to a whole different level.

No Need to Freeze-buy a set of these! http://www.coldguards.com/

Yup, for when you absolutely, positively, have to crater every last Nazi/Ayran brain pan in the room, just like our Grandfathers did back in WW2.

So.. I usually buy .45acp and 9mm in 1000 rounds bulk packs but it seems those days are gone for now. That being said, I have a good supply and don’t plan on running out anytime soon but I’ve decided to try my hand at reloading. Anyone have any suggestions on equipment and tools needed? I’m a total noob and will do my research but just trying to get a good start on tools and equipment needed. For now just going to do .45 and 9mm. My first order should probably be a reloading manual lol.

Hi reloading is just as much fun as shooting. Been doing it for 40 years. If you are just going to do pistol I would look at the Dillon Square Deal. Or the new XL 750. I have one of each. I reload rifle and pistol. Your tube it. Buy the Lyman 50th reloading book first. Welcome to the club

Thanks for the advice.. I did pick up the Lyman reloading manual but I had already ordered a Lee turret press. I figured I would start with 9mm first as I have a ton a brass and projectiles but not many primers. Doesn’t look like I will be getting too many more anytime soon either, but at least I have a start. Eventually I plan to do 5.56 as well. I have been watching videos which are helpful. Just gotta wait for everything to come in, get setup and read lots!

Second the Dillon recommendation, I have a 550 and load 40s&w as well as 223. Just read a post on one of the Dillon forums from a guy who wore out one of there machines after 35 years and they sent him a new one no charge. Their customer service is ridiculously good.
