Sat inside and watched it fall. Sitting here with a coffee this morning, watching Puckalo clean my lane .... it's a good life LOL!

it's nice to get some more... clearing snow for me is a 1 1/2 hour affair.. 2 if I plow the road out to the Hwy... as was the case yesterday... not a big deal when your using this... [

LOL ... good lookin outfit you have there .. I just got tired of doing it a couple of years ago, so I quit for a while.  I have a diesel 4x4 Kioti with loader and blower sitting in the garage, but no ambition to take it out.  I do run it up the road three or four times every winter to clean out my sawmill yard, but otherwise it's "coffee and watch" for me

Unfortunately I don't have that option... yet.. though.. my tenure on the railway is a tad more than a year away for retirement eligibility ....
sounds like a nice unit you have... the sawmill is interesting too.. I have an Alaskan style but it has a bandsaw blade instead of a chain saw blade... with the price of lumber soaring.. I just might start skidding some wood off the acreage with the little JD crawler

This is what i use ,nice inside the heated cab ,and 70 HP does short work of the snow.

Some of are trails are yellow now in my area . I buy a permit every year but seldom do i use the trails . We did have a group that road all over the north ,it was nothing to go to Cochrane for lunch then on to Timmins and home for supper . Now i am the only one that even buys a permit  . We do alot of bush riding now .

I built a saw mill 10 years ago ,do not cut much but is handy when i need some lumber . I skidded some Tamarack and white spruce out this winter to cut into lumber in the spring .

Because mommy and daddy say you can't go there safely, the fuel station is closed.

So now all of a sudden because basecamp is closed the local club says it's too dangerous. Wooo, danger stay away little boys and girls.

They think it's mount everest or something, give me a break. I've rode the loop by myself plenty of times. What i do and when is my responsibility.

I don't need a gas station dictating when I should ride. By this logic all trails in Ontario must close after gas station Operating hours.

If it's not covid and nimbys now its friggen gas stations closing trails.

Pathetic.

So don't worry the loop is technically open. It will show green on Thursday to let you know it's now safe to ride. Before that stay off or you will "DIE"

That's for dramatic effect. Scary times folks

I have been looking at the ofsc trail maps , They are the worst maps i have ever seen ,when are they going to update the maps to something readable . Even in areas were i have traveled and know were i have been i can not figure where to go . They need to over lap the ofsc maps with the reginal maps ,showing all roads and highways . Right now if you broke down on the trail you would not have a clue how to get to the closes road or hwy .

PBR have groomed A106C better known as Zeverley's loop... I would tender a guess they probably have it as far west as the Buskegeau River too ...
