Some of you may have seen my previous thread about my new group "Boondock Nation". We have made some drastic changes and gotten our act together so I figured I should start a new and improved thread.

Boondock Nation is a TV show about backcountry snowmobiling. We started as a group of guys posting videos online and have grown an unbelievable amount in the last year. Boondock Nation is now a business unit of Discover Mediaworks. Discover Mediaworks produces the weekly show Discover Wisconsin, as well as a children's environmental educational show called Into the Outdoors. They have won 14 Emmy awards and multiple Addy awards for their work, and they will be producing our show. We are headquartered in Eagle River, WI, the snowmobile capital of the world and home of the World Championship Snowmobile Derby. We will be airing a half hour TV pilot on Fox Sports North, Fox Sports Wisconsin, Comcast Chicago, and WJMN out of Marquette from Mid October-Early November, depepnding on location (visit our website for details) We just wrapped up at Hay Days and we will also have a dealer booth at Snowmobile USA's shows in Milwaukee, WI and Novi, MI. We are excited to take Boondock Nation to the next level and shed some light on the great sport of backcountry snowmobiling/boondocking.

boondocknation.com is now live.

We have more than 1.4k followers on Instagram, and about 1200 likes on Facebook. Please give us a like, you wont be disappointed!

We are meeting sometime next week to discuss this year's apparel. We will hopefully have a website and online store up soon, and we will surely offer some sort of deal for DooTalk members!

Good things have been happening for us! We are about to start sending out sponsorship requests. Any ideas here? We were thinking of a "lumpy mail" approach. We are capable of laser engraving things, so we were thinking of lightly engraving our logo in a gourd. In the box including a message "where we ride, some people think we're a little out of our gourds!" Any suggestions here would be great. We have gotten a sponsorship from Fox for discounted shocks as of today.

We didn't do much over the summer but everybody is beginning to get into the spirit of snowmobiling. Our Facebook page is starting to take off, and we are getting lots of interest!

Thank you everyone!

Discover Mediaworks will be producing a TV special for us on FOX Sports in Late February/Early March. Website will also be up in the next couple of weeks. One ride in so far, this is going to be a great year!
