2010 ren-back-summit :)    took what started as a rene x 600 etec and have converted it to a slightly coupled summit...  this summer its getting a deeper lug (2.3 as opposed to a 1.75) and possibly a lower top gear, currently 21-45 thinking maybe 19-45...  have c and a xtx's on it, g n r bracing and some clutch work

2010- renegade x 600 etec 7900 miles
c&a xtx's, 1.75 inch track, lowered a gear, 190/290 primary with a 43/47 helix
all new shocks by monster performance

2004- mxz 600ho sdi 8200 miles

Looks like I'm running some old iron compared to most, still rocking a 99 600 ZX. It has a 136 skid now and 1.5" Intense track, went with the narrow Summit front end and got rid of the sway bar. Running Simmons Gen1 skis.

they are never too old , my latest , 84 Skandic , still haven't seen it in person but should have it next month at this time . I'll probably still get to ride it :laugh_old:

How ya liking the Summit Sport 6?  Couple of my crew are showing interest in them for UP backwoods. They look like a pretty good set up for the low elevation woods to me. And a lot <$ so even with upgrades, you're still very reasonably priced.

I love it. I bought it for my youngest daughter so she wouldn't get stuck putzing around offtrail with me and my BCX. Even tho its the little 600 carbed it handles so much better that the Bcx sat in the shop the whole winter except for when I was repairing the little summit (not the machines fault Riders fault broken and bent stuff). It launches way better then the bcx pulls over and sidehills way better and dosnt trench like bcx the uncoupled rear skid makes a big difference. It has been very durable I have pretty well 100 engine hrs on it this season and none of that is trail all backcountry riding the only thing that has gone on it was one heated grip and its been beaten on hard.
The only down fall to it is with the little 600 and gearing its crazy out of the hole but has no top end for the bigger mountain climbs but for the terrian I have in my backyard which is probably the same as the UP where you ride it is awsome. The one thing that is extremly bad is the motion control shocks you will have to change them. Ive done all the reg stuff with it for offtrail like bracing, skid plate, venting etc the only performance thing I did was to change the primary clutch spring for a higher engagement. For value you cant beat it. Here is a pic of it from yesterday as you can see works well
