I did know but I can't remember what the stock can weighed. Anybody got that number handy. Thanks

pretty shure it was 8.3kg, had one on the scale last week but I never wrote it down.

Thats 18.26 lb.s and I had 18 in my head but not sure.

No it won't be the same. The Etec is slightly larger I believe.


And thats not a pipe :) silly guy

The stock 800 Etec exhaust is 17.9610605 LBS or 8147 grams.

fixed it for ya, i can't believe they made those even HEAVIER, I saved over 20lbs. with my full cpi system.

fixed it for ya, i can't believe they made those even HEAVIER, I saved over 20lbs. with my full cpi system.



Adding the sensor was minimal but to keep the EPA restrictions they had to do a little modification so it was compliant. Now it just soaks up even more oil and makes it even heavier haha.

I'll weigh mine stocker after break in just for poop and giggles.

mine was 18.1 lbs and went to TSS can and saved 14 lbs just with can. That is krazy.

I pulled the above numbers from another doo Talk can thread that showed the scale and the stock Etec can on it. I have my well used 2011 suitcase (roughly 500 miles) and a brand new 2012 suitcase sitting in my garage right now. I will see if I can borrow a scale today to weigh them both for fun. I think we are splitting hairs at this point but what else am I supposed to do when its the end of December & there is NO snow :bighair ???

Here is a pic of the weigh-in for my used 2011 etec silencer. I guess my buddy took his stock 2012 exhaust home, so I didn't have it here to compare.
