Sno-Stuff windshields

Hey Friends,
Gonna need a windshield for the new X package I have coming. Does anyone have any info on the Peak Performance windshields by Sno-Stuff. I have found a ton of pics of the windshield itself, but no pics of it on an XP. I want something that will protect me from the wind better than the ultra-low that comes on the X package sleds, but I don't want something big and gay looking. I thought these looked pretty cool. Any info would be great!!!!!

I gotta an OEM ski-doo high windshield with the bracket I don't want for $60, doesn't have the wind deflectors just the windshield. I have pics if interested.
was on sled when I bought it this summer, old owner replaced the ultra low with it.

I would watch out for that "bolt on" design. Other than the side panels, the windshield is the first piece that has to come off to remove anything else. For those of you that have had your plastic off, you will know what I mean.

It only takes a minute to take the 4 phillips screws from the W/S to take it off. Very simple.

Made my own shield for less than $20.00

Clear plexiglass 1/8" - $3.00
black krylon fusion spray paint - $3.00
Black lower trim piece - Ebay- $10.00
door edge trim - $1.00

Use heat gun to soften center area of plexiglass - gently gave it a little bend over a rolled up towel (matched factory bend) - traced out all the mounting holes and the shape I wanted - cut quite easily with metal aviator snips. Sand the edges a little - paint the backside with spray paint - put the door edge trim on top edge - and you got a new shield. Took about 1/2 hour to make - looks factory

The shield that I made keeps the wind off my chest and helmet area better that the stock shield that came on the sled. The stocker has the side shields to block more wind - but I never felt a need to go back to that one.

Upgraded to a Cobra Medium, last winter. Money well spent, install is simple, 10 minute job max, no drilling, clears handguards no problem.

I have a sno-stuff peakline on my 07 rev. It's lower than the x windshield by approx 1.5". I wouldn't buy it for warmth.

Not sure on the XP sleds though, sorry.

I have the cobra tall and wish they would make a taller wider one when it's really cold.

I ordered a Cobra Mid-Height Windshield (15" - Part # 10342010) a couple of months ago from my dealer, and they have not been able to get this for me, yet. Do any of you know of anyone who has this windshield in stock?

I ordered mine from "sled-parts".com. They have them for $69. Was the cheapest I found and they had fast shipping. Give em a try.

I have the stock, 14" (i think) on mine, and i need a bigger windshield, no doubt. Even if i tuck down, the wind still seems to be hard to get away from. Another 3 inches higher would help nicely i'm sure. So can you buy that in a single piece, (whole windshield) or just the center keeping your stock side flares? Or are they not even 3 piece? (duh, can't remember now. How tall can you go with the standard cover? I don't want to buy a new cover too!
