Recently bought a 2016 xrs 800etec.  Came with a black primary spring from epi performance.  Says the spring rating is 200 lbs at 2.9" and 320 lbs at 1.6".  Rest of the clutching is all stock.  Anyone know if that would be a decent set up to run or should I just go get the stock spring and swap it back out.

Stock spring p#414817700 blue/green  130/260.   pin weight  wasn't changed with your setup? The EPI spring has raised the initial and final force which raises rpm's(figure for every 10# change in force is about 100rpm's)

What are you wanting to accomplish? Like grover said the epi spring will have raised your engagement rpms and your back shift will feel different from stock. Did you ride the sled with the epi spring?

Pin weight has not been changed. Spring only. Have not ridden it besides moving it on lawn. Engagement is still 3900 rpms. Gonna be a trail sled and heard stock set up is a bit doggy so wondering if this is a decent set up or not

Without a pinweight change or running your "clickers" on #1 you may be overreving at max/peak rpm's.

I will be pulling everything apart to replace track and secondary rollers this summer still, so if anyone has recommendations on spring or gear changes that would also be great
