Looking for a satellite tracking device for my enclosed trailer, mostly for when it's out of my sight in storage. Has anyone tried the Spot Trace inside their trailer?

The subscription costs more than insurance so I don't see the value of it.

Have you considered hiding a few of the new Apple tag devices?
A lot cheaper but does rely on it being detected by nearby IPhone users.

Probably correct, but the satisfaction of seeing the perps in handcuffs-priceless.

I remember the day in 2005 I received the call from the dealer telling me that my 2 sleds (5 weeks old in for their first service) and my trailer were stolen from the dealers compound. If I had a tracker i'd likely be up for parole by now, probably a good thing. I was younger then. Never leaves my mind, even to this day, as you can tell. Best part is the dealer shrugged it off like it was no big deal as it was my insurance not his that had to cover it. Heard a few years later from a kid that had worked there that they pull a scam every few years. Couldn't prove it but I believe him. Said they send them to Quebec, wait a couple days then call the cops and customer. Only good thing was I ditched the Cats and went back to Skidoo.

I had the State Police show up at my house investigating a bank robbery.  The plate on the get a way car leaving the bank was mine.

Police and I went and looked for my plate on my car and sure enough it was gone.

Police laughed and left.  Never did find the car or my plate

Don~

Insure it, everything inside it and worry less. I don't really want it back if it gets stolen.
