Do the deflectors really keep the cold air off you??

I was wondering too, also how do they fasten on? Do you have to drill holes?

they snap into a Grove in the sidepanel no drilling required. as far as if they work? I never rode mine without them but it seemed warmer to ride than other g4 sleds on the same day.

They definitely help, without em the wind seems to hit you directly in the spheres.

I went from a medium windshield and no side deflectors on my 900NA to high windshield and deflectors on my 900T. Day and night difference. Don't want to be responsible for a thread hijack, but I put the handle bar muffs on and it was even warmer. Every little bit helps I guess.

Are these available for the G4 narrow (BC)? I only see the ones for the wide body in the catalogue.

Want to save a few $$ ?

Buy the same deflectors - they come standard on the 900 Grand Touring model.

Item #'s 4000 and 4200
