Does anyone know if the cooling system has a radiator and fan? I have been searching and cannot see or find much. I am considering this model for a 2up long distance touring machine. Would love to hear comments on this machine good or bad.

According to BRP site, all the Expeditions have air radiator and fan.

Download the spec sheet for the model you are looking for, the spec sheets show air rad and fan included.

Yes all the expeditions now have a rad and fan, I guess all the gens 4's do. My 2 stroke has a huge rad and the fan comes on at 145* F, but that's only if I run it hard on a 60* F spring day.

Ok great thank you guys. I have the 2021 lineup catalogue but did not mention it in it. I should of looked up the specs on it on the site. Many thanks. My wife and I really enjoy long miles and wonder if this is the king of touring. Wonder if the shorter ski stance has much of an impact on handling (2” shorter than grand touring)

I have not had a expedition with the pilot skies, they are likely better then the ds2 when it comes to cornering. With the 154 vs 137 track and the ds2 vs pilot skies, the GT would take high speed corners better then the expedition, I would compare the GT to a softly sprung renegade. My renegade corners better then my expedition, but with the articulation of the expedition corners better then you would think. I have not done much 2 up riding since I got my extreme but did a bit with my 1200, you could add a second person and a bunch of gear, set the air shock firmer and you never knew they where there. I notice most of the 2 up couples in Gaspe ride expeditions and I feel that the expedition SE 900t would be the ultimate touring machine. Many +'s over the GT very few -'s

Tuning the suspension has a lot to do with it. The ds3 skis have an even deeper keel if cornering is your bag.

We currently ride a 15 1200 Renegade X with tunnel quick adjust. We do enjoy it and runs good 2up with the 270/271 torsions set to max. Its a good compromise 1up and the 1+1 setup. Our next sled I would rather be way better 2 up than 1up but do like the Expedition removal of the 2up seat. The GT 2up seat cannot be removed. We ride near 100% trails. Passenger comfort along with gear capacity would be a big factor in going with the Expedition.

Question not a comment, the extreme does not have a rear seat included in package so I am only familiar with the rear seat on the xu. Is the back seat on the g4 se/le a problem to use seems easy to install and remove the back rack from the same position.??

it's so easy a 2 year old can do it, much better than the xu, plus it can be tilted from either the left or right side

Skiroule I am looking at the Expedition SE with the 900 turbo. It comes with a 2up seat and box the size of a container off a ship! It has the air ride too. Really leaning towards this model cause 2 up seat removes in no time and linq mounts can be positioned any which way. The use of the linq stuff I have can still be used.

This one. I added an adjustable med to high windshield and led lights. The more I think about it the more I want to order one. Good chance next winter will be my last with my current sled.....or keep both lol 😆

Sorry, I guess I need to take reading lessons, I mistakenly thought you said you did not like the way the 2 up seat removes from the expedition. I was thinking to my self that seems to be the best removable 2 up seat I have ever seen. Thought I would be nice and ask a question instead of saying "what the hell,  its a great seat"  I have added the large box to my extreme it is cavernous . Make sure you find a system to hold things down when the box is not full,  I have not filled it yet. Partly due to the fact I have not been able to leave NS, so zero big mile trips.

That all black se looks very impressive. I don't think you will regret that decision.

I am really do like the look of it. Check this one out for sale in Quebec. It is setup the exact same way that I would run it, 1 up stripped down and 2up full tour.....minus the wrap.

Too bad you were not able to leave NS. Here in NB, we had some winter. Actually, my brother in law and a few other folks are at Moose Valley right now. Not much snow left but still riding. We rode 3400kms but could of rode more.

Large air pillows work well in underfilled large cargo boxes. I keep things I use most in the smaller box on mine anyway. Also, not everyone likes black.
