You guessed it, Polaris 650. LOL  At least why don't they say trail sled of the year. Way to many different riding styles to say that is the sled of the year. At least it's not for me lol.

I could care less what they picked. Their mag and TV show is a shell of what they used to be.

should have been the 600 EFI of any flavor from what i've read for reviews.

Also, their SOTY is such a joke now.  why not just do "Polaris sled/year, Cat sled/year, Yamaha Sled/year.  Leave Doo out, we already know they are superior, we just need to pick our own.   :P

Just proves once again the 800/900/1000 class of sleds are inferior.

Would you of expected them to select a Doo after years of bad press, they reported about Doo and all the praise they give Polaris! Very bias (SnowTrax)!

Agree or disagree Polaris did do a good job of listening to customers in building the new sleds.  Think about it they gave everyone what MOST riders have been asking for.

1) Class leading gauge

2) Class leading headlight

3) Class leading factory integrated storage

Those things have been widely talked about over and over here and asked for over and over by riders.  Polaris simply listened to them and gave them what they were asking for.  I am 150% sure if Ski-Doo just listened to their customers and gave them what they have been asking for the tables would be turned.  I'm still a Doo guy at heart but Polaris is on the gas big time.  I have a very small complaint list from my 21 Matryx Assault.

4) Class leading handling

5) Class leading track options

6) Color customization

7) Ground breaking 650cc class

Meanwhile Skidoo comes out with RAX and R-Motion X, which even people on this board can't agree was a good thing.

My dealer has already snow checked twice as many Polaris sleds as last year, by far a record for him.  I think he had a record year for Skidoo's too.

Can't argue with 5-7 but have to disagree with 4

Clearly these "class leading" categories are not putting them into #1 spot which is where BRP is currently sitting yet again. That being said, I would hope that BRP has taken notice over the hype that the Polaris is generating otherwise shame on them.

I suspect a new chassis in 23... would be 20 year anniversary of the Rev... Maybe we'll get a headlight that shines more than 50 yards down the trail without spending 900 on addons...

Hey, let's remember 2013 and 2017, those were the Doo years at Snowtrax. That's not so bad  :)

Lets not forget 8) I much Lighter sled xcr 468 pounds 129 vrs Doo 495 ...it used to matter to a lot of people on here and it still matters to me

                         9) A much easier steering sled that is not nervous and goes right were you point it in all conditions practically
