Have any of you made insurance claims on your sleds?  Specifically after submersion?  If so who did you have and how was it handled?

My insurance won’t cover submersion.... I asked couple years ago and even with full coverage they don’t cover it. I’m sure lots of company’s do/will but not mine.
So if it ends up and bottom of lake or river then it was stolen lol

Thats kinda what I am worried about.  sunk mine but managed to get it out and to dry ground but had to abandon it due to open water and leave on a helicopter that wasn't willing to sling it.  Now I am working on getting quotes for the recovery and wanted to see if anyone else had been through similar.  Both sleds are insured with different companies so I guess I will start the claim process.

Due to the remote location the helo removal is going to cost a small fortune.

If insurance pays out but doesn’t recover them, let me know please. I will buy them from the insurance and go out on hovercraft. If they don’t pay out let me know and I can put you together with my buddy that has 2 hovercraft

You better find out where they are first!  If its the sleds that got left north of Ft Yuk they won't be there after breakup.  The river will get em'.
