I have a 2002 MXZ 800 and I'd like to know if the boots and reed cage assembly can be seperated.  It's been awhile since I looked at them and it seemed to me they were one piece.  I'd like to get new boots only, the reeds and gage are in good shape.

If you want to get something out of something, you must put something into it.

Buy cheap and you will buy twice.

My greatest fear: As I lay on my death bed my wife is typing away on her computer trying to sell my prized possessions on Craig's list for what I told her I paid for them.

The  boot on a early 800 skidoo  non Ho was a one piece  assembly with the cage, when skidoo came out with the first Ho 800  it had  a two piece Cage with boot  but they wont fit 2000 because the 2000 had 40 mm round slide carbs that are larger diameter than the  40 mm flat slide! The  Ho Style  two piece boot will fit your 2002 800

Everybody else notice the tall paddle track, extended tunnel and skid? Also the ski backs seem to be curled up?
