How much play should there be in the clutch when not running? I can grab it by hand and move it around (in and out as well as rocking it). Is the clutch worn out? I have never dealt with one of these clutches before.

Update: I called Goodwin Performance and it sounds like the clutch is shot so I’m ordering a new one. Hoping to fully rebuild the drivetrain to address ongoing issues.

I finally installed the new clutch which confirms that the play/slop in the old clutch was clearly not normal. This probably caused other problems for us (including brake shoe issues). The new clutch is nice and tight and just feels like you would expect.
