Long story short I’ve spent the last month completely rebuilding my ol lady’s Articat. In order to have it done for a trip last weekend, in said time I neglected to look over my sled thoroughly, got to camp went to go for a night ride to the store and grendaded the motor with in ten miles of easy riding. (30-40mph) in hopes of not losing the rest of this short season the only thing I’ve been able to find is a 700 out of a legend. Same year and it’s fairy local to me my question is besides clutching and mechanical aspects of the swap, can I run the 600 carbs and will the 700 plug and play with the 600 “computer”

You could run the 600 carbs, but jetting will be different. The MPEM might be an issue as far as the timing curve goes, but it should fire it up I would think, just not sure it would make the power if the timing curve isn’t the same?

What is the difference in the carb just the jetting? So I should probably look at finding a mpem off of another 700 just to be safe?

Pipe and manifold are for sure different between the 700/600

The carbs do have different part #s, but yes the jetting will be different. The 700 uses 510 main jets, the 600 uses 500 mains and the 700 uses 17.5 pilot jet and the 600 uses a 20......needle jets are the same.
It might not be a bad idea to find a MPEM for a 700.
