Hey guys, Had a stud pull out and punch a hole in my exchanger. Going to swap the track and replace the bearings while I'm in there. The sled has about 6,500 miles.

 I have read about issues with the reverse gear wear and causing binding. Wondering if I should just replace it.

Planning on picking up needed tools from C&T.

 Appreciate any insight from guys who have done this.

I replaced the reverse gear when I had it open. (cheap insurancce)

 

We improvised (threaded rod and washers from my friend's stamping shop) to press out the bearing. 

Getting the proper tools is way more efficient...

Getting the proper tools is paramount.

I replaced my track on a 2016, no issues, definately need the caliper tool from C&T. 

I only replaced my dry side bearings for driveshaft and jackshaft, and made a homemade puller for the jackshaft bearing.  Unfortunatley C&T does not make his anymore.

Not a bad job.

I went with the 1.5" Ripsaw 2 with Woody's Gold Digger Carbide Studs GDP6 1.575 and Pilot 6.9" skis, what a difference.

 

I also just bought the new coupling to fix reverse issues, goes like butter now.  I will change every 5000 now, was at 7000
