So the wife's 2006 summit 550F has the stock track on it, it certainly struggles off the trail.  Can anybody tell me the max track lug height that will fit on this sled? Going to keep an eye out locally for something used.

Thanks for any info!

the book says it came with a 1.5" lug from the factory. However the 06 Summit 800 x came with a 2.25" lug track and that is what I have on my 05. Since it doesn't have a front heat exchanger like the liquid sleds it might have the room for a larger lug track.  I would measure how much clearance there is now between the bulkhead and the current track to get an idea of how much room you have.  If you do go with a larger lug you might want to drop a tooth or two on the top gear in the chain case.

In my humble opinion, anything over 1.75" would probably lose more than you would gain.  550F can only push so much.  Strong motor, but it does have limits.
